As the blessed month of Ramadan graces the Muslim community, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the last general election, has sent his heartfelt Ramadan greetings to the entire Muslim faithful across Oyo State.

Hon. Sarumi, a well-known and respected figure in the political landscape, urged the Muslim community to embrace the spiritual essence of this holy month, emphasizing the importance of reflection, prayer, and charity.

In his message, he extended his greetings to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and expressed his appreciation for the leadership and dedication of the governor in promoting peace, unity, and development in Oyo State.

Hon. Sarumi further called on all Muslims to utilize this period of fasting to offer prayers for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the state, as well as for the well-being of every citizen. He encouraged the faithful to seek God’s guidance and blessings, particularly for those in leadership, so they can continue to serve the people effectively.

“I wish all Muslims a joyous, peaceful, and blessed Ramadan. May this holy month bring us all closer to Allah, and may our collective prayers foster unity and harmony in our communities and in Oyo State,” Hon. Sarumi said.

He also urged the Muslim community to continue supporting one another, and to exemplify the spirit of selflessness and kindness that Ramadan teaches, ensuring that no one is left behind, especially in this challenging time.

As we reflect during this holy season, Hon. Sarumi reiterated the importance of sustaining the peace and progress of the state, while working together for the collective good of all residents of Oyo State.

Once again, Hon. Sarumi wishes the Muslim community a blessed Ramadan and encourages everyone to carry forward the values of Ramadan in all aspects of their lives.
