Hon. Kazim Adeyinka Adeniyi Bibire, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and his beloved wife, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, following their installation as the Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by the Deji of Akure, His Royal Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.

In a statement released on Friday, Hon. Bibire described the honour as a “fitting recognition” of Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to good governance, service to humanity, and exemplary leadership over the years.

“This chieftaincy title is not just ceremonial; it is a bold affirmation of Governor Makinde’s character, values, and his consistent efforts to uplift not only Oyo State but Nigeria at large,” Bibire stated.

He praised the governor’s integrity, humility, and people-centered style of leadership, noting that these attributes have earned him widespread admiration both within and outside the state.

“I can confidently attest to Governor Seyi Makinde’s selfless spirit, deep compassion for the people, and visionary approach to leadership. He is a true Omoluabi in every sense. He is disciplined, and morally upright,” he added.

Hon. Bibire also extended warm congratulations to Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde on her conferment as Yeye Aare Omoluabi, describing her as a supportive pillar whose grace, intellect, and commitment to women and family development have continued to shine brightly in Oyo State and beyond.

“The First Lady’s recognition alongside her husband is a testament to the strength of their partnership and shared dedication to the betterment of society.

Her poise, compassion, and community-driven initiatives have left an indelible mark,” he said.

The Deputy Chief of Staff expressed optimism that these titles would further inspire the First Family of Oyo State to deepen their legacy of service, unity, and excellence.

“Governor Makinde’s installation by the Deji-in-Council is a proud moment for all of us in Oyo State.

It underscores the respect and admiration they command across traditional institutions and among the people.

I wholeheartedly congratulate my Boss and our amiable First Lady, and I pray that they continue to soar in wisdom, strength, and divine favour,” Bibire concluded.

Governor and Mrs. Makinde were honoured during a special ceremony held at the Deji’s Palace in Akure on Friday, July 18, 2025, where dignitaries from across the Southwest gathered to celebrate their achievements.
