The Sharafite Movement has decorated Prince Niran Adeyoju as its Special Patron in recognition of his contributions, commitment and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
The decoration ceremony took place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at SDM Tavern Hotel, Ibadan, where the Founder of the movement, Hon. Yomi Olajide, popularly known as Royal Umbrella, formally conferred the distinguished honour on Prince Adeyoju.
The movement expressed appreciation for Prince Adeyoju’s political contributions and continued involvement in the activities of the APC in Oyo State, noting that his support and dedication to the party had been recognised.
Speaking on the honour, the founder explained that the decision to appoint Prince Adeyoju as Special Patron was informed by the movement’s desire to recognise individuals whose contributions support the party’s activities and political objectives.
The movement stated that it expects the new position to further strengthen its activities in the areas of party unity, grassroots mobilisation, political engagement and good governance.
It also reaffirmed its readiness to collaborate with party leaders, stakeholders and supporters in its efforts to strengthen the APC’s political structure in Oyo State and beyond.
