The Oyo State Deputy APC Women Leader and CEO of Àràntiwa Fashion Show, Hon. Fatima Hassan, has been honoured as Girl Child Advocacy Personality of the Year at the MAYA Awards Africa 2026.
The recognition celebrates her consistent contributions to girl-child advocacy and her commitment to initiatives aimed at empowering young girls and creating opportunities for them to thrive.
Reacting to the honour, Hon. Fatima Hassan expressed deep appreciation to MAYA Awards Africa, describing the recognition as an encouragement to continue championing the rights, wellbeing and development of the girl child.
