On a bright Sunday, Hon. Ademola Qudus Abidemi, popularly known as Omo Ade, paid a courtesy visit to the APM Executives of Ward 3, Ibadan South-West Local Government to formally declare his ambition to contest for the position of Councillor. He was warmly received and graciously welcomed by the party leadership and members.
As a grassroots politician with a strong background in leadership and public service, Hon. Ademola has held several notable positions during his student years. His leadership journey includes serving as an Executive of the Federation of Oyo State Students Union, President of the Federation of Ibadan Students Union, Parliament Chief Whip, and Welfare Director of the Students’ Union Government at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.
Widely recognized for his commitment to service and effective leadership, Omo Ade has consistently demonstrated the capacity to address challenges and provide practical solutions. He is respected as a dedicated comrade who remains focused on the welfare and progress of the people.
While addressing the executives, he emphasized the importance of placing the right people in positions of responsibility and encouraged greater participation in grassroots politics as a means of driving positive development and meaningful impact within society.
As part of his support for the party, Hon. Ademola donated campaign materials, including branded wears, flyers, and banners to the ward. He also pledged continued support and commitment to strengthening the party’s presence and activities at the grassroots level.
