On the occasion of the 57th birthday of Oyo State’s Executive Governor, Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Oldest Iyaloja in Oyo State, Alhaja Nimota Wahab who happened to be the Iyalode of Oke Ogun has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations and blessings to the governor.
In her message, Alhaja Wahab, a prominent market leader from Oke Ogun region of Oyo State, wished Governor Makinde a long life and prosperity. She prayed for the Governor’s continued success, saying, “Igba odun, odun kan ni fun Aare aso Igbo di Ile, Aare aso Akiitan di Oja, a ni ki e pe laye pelu Alaafia ara ati arisiki to gboroo … Amin.” This translates to her desire for the Governor to live a long and prosperous life, filled with peace and divine favor.
Alhaja Wahab continued her blessings, acknowledging the Governor’s significant achievements and leadership, and expressed a prayer for his continued success both in Oyo State and beyond. She stated, “Emi Alhaja Nimota Wahab Mori Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde ni Agbara Olorun Oba, maa tun ri President Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde … Amin.”
