MDA PUBLIC SERVICE BENEFICIARY FORUMS HONOUR HON. (ENGR.) MAGAJI DAU ALIYU, PhD , WITH AWARD

A forum comprising youths from Birnin Kudu and Buji Local Government Areas—beneficiaries of employment opportunities facilitated by Hon. (Engr.) Magaji Dau Aliyu, PhD, mni,(Deputy Director TSG North)across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) of government—organized a grand ceremony to honour him in recognition of his exceptional contribution to their lives through job creation. The beneficiaries, numbering about one thousand six hundred (1,600), also celebrated his completion of his third academic degree and his graduation from Nigeria’s highest school of governance, where he was conferred with the prestigious Member of the National Institute (mni) award.

The ceremony took place at the conference hall of the Birnin Kudu School of Nursing and Midwifery and was graced by distinguished personalities from within and outside Jigawa State. Among those in attendance were the Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government, Bldr. Muhammad Uba, PhD; the Member representing Buji Local Government in the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Sale Baba Buji, Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, represented by Amb. Khalid S. Ibrahim; the Emir of Dutse, represented by the Galadiman Dutse, Alh. Basiru Muhammad Sunusi;District Head of Birnin Kudu, Alh. Hussaini Hassan Jibrin;Kaigaman Ringim, Alh. Nasiru Ali Sa’ad;Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kudu, represented by Barr. Auwalu Yakubu; Special Advisers to the Governor; Associate Professor Dau Abba Umar; Dr. Auwal Ado; leaders of the APC from Birnin Kudu and Buji Local Government Areas; Hon. Nura Jidawa from ADC.

Goodwill messages and heartfelt tributes were delivered by several dignitaries, highlighting the significant developmental strides recorded in the area through the efforts of Hon. (Engr.) Magaji Dau Aliyu, PhD, mni, during his tenure in the National Assembly. Notable among speakers were Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government, Bldr. Muhammad Uba, PhD; Galadiman Dutse; and the Kaigaman Ringim.

A lecture on the importance of education was delivered by Associate Professor Dau Abba Umar.

In his response, Hon. (Engr.) Magaji Dau Aliyu, PhD, mni, described the occasion as one of the most memorable days of his life. He expressed profound gratitude to the beneficiaries for the honour and commended them for their initiative and sense of responsibility. He further pledged to continue dedicating his efforts toward the development of the area, with a strong commitment to expanding employment opportunities for the youth.
