Fatai Ibikunle is taking his game of deception to Oke Ogun using the name of the president and inducing leaders with money. The APC NWC has asked everyone to await its decision yet ibikunle is going about deceiving people

On June 4, 2026, Ibikunle issued a circular inviting Oke Ogun APC stakeholders to a “consultative meeting” at Queen Event Centre, Iseyin. On the surface, it looks like normal party engagement. In reality, it’s another move to manufacture consent before the APC National Working Committee has even spoken.
Sources within Oyo APC say Ibikunle is moving through the zone dropping the President’s name and throwing money around to buy compliance. The goal is not consultation. The goal is to create the illusion that Abuja has already decided, and then force Senator Sarafadeen Alli down the throats of Oke Ogun people whether they want him or not.

Let’s be clear: the APC NWC has told everyone to wait for its directive. No candidate has been endorsed. No structure has been ratified. For Ibikunle to act like the process is settled is not politics. It’s fraud.

This is how he operates. Use big names for cover, use cash to pressure local leaders, and rush to lock in commitments before members can ask questions. It worked before in other zones. It left the party fractured and members feeling sold out.

*To the people of Oke Ogun:*
Don’t fall for it. This meeting is not about your interest. It’s about forcing Sarafadeen Alli on you by all means, using your name to fraudulently present a decision you never made. Once he gets your signatures and pictures, he will go back to Ibadan and tell Abuja “Oke Ogun has agreed.” Don’t let him speak for you.

*To Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle:*
Desist from your dubious ways. The NWC directive is clear. Stop invoking the President’s name to mislead people. Stop treating Oke Ogun leaders like they are for sale. If you have a case to make, make it when the party opens the process. Until then, your antics are nothing but an attempt to hijack the party for one man’s ambition.
Oke Ogun deserves respect, not manipulation. APC in Oyo needs a process that members trust, not another backdoor deal wrapped in a fake consultative meeting.
Stay alert. Don’t sign. Don’t endorse. Wait for the NWC’s decision.
