Today, as we celebrate Eid, we do so with a sober and reflective heart. Our thoughts are with the good people of Orire Local Government following the recent distressing kidnapping incident.
We extend our deepest condolences and solidarity to the affected families. No family should have to endure this pain, and we stand with you in absolute heartweight and unity.
We must also acknowledge our Executive Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE, for his tireless, day and night interventions to resolve this crisis.We see the heavy lifting being done by the governor and his entire administration to ensure our security apparatus functions effectively and most importantly, to bring our kids back home safely.
Thank you, Your Excellency for this steady leadership.
May Almighty Allah look upon our state with mercy this Eid. May He protect our children, guide our leaders, frustrate the plans of the wicked, and bring our loved ones back safely and swiftly.
