Eid-el-Kabir Message from Hon. Abiodun Adekunle Baruwa ….. To the Good People of Ibadan Southwest Constituency I and Oyo State

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh.

With a heart full of gratitude to Allah (SWT), I extend my warmest Sallah greetings to the good people of Ibadan Southwest Constituency I, and indeed, the entire Oyo State. Alhamdulillah, The Most Merciful has granted us the blessing to witness yet another Eid-el-Kabir.

This sacred celebration reminds us of the spiritual depth and significance of obedience to Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is a time that calls for total submission to the will of Allah, and a moment to reflect on values such as sacrifice, devotion, empathy, and compassion towards our families, neighbours, and society at large.

To my esteemed Muslim constituents, I deeply appreciate your unwavering support, steadfastness, and the enduring sacrifices you’ve made over the years. I am honoured to be counted among you and grateful for your continued trust.

To all Muslim faithful across the state and the nation, I encourage us to remain shining examples of the noble teachings of Islam—promoting peace, love, and unity. Let us continue to embody the values of patience, tolerance, and mutual respect, which are essential for the growth and development of our communities.

As we celebrate this Eid, may Allah (SWT) forgive our shortcomings and shower His boundless mercy and blessings upon us and our loved ones. I pray that we live to witness many more Eid celebrations in sound health and prosperity. May Allah grant us safe journeys and divine protection always.
