In her heartfelt message to christian community in the council area, The Political Head and Administrator, Ibadan East Local Council Development Area,Hon. Mrs Mary Esomior has emphasized the importance of love and sacrifice during the Easter period.
She made this known while felicitates Christian across the council area on 2025 Easter Celebration, encouraging them to reflect on the lessons derived from the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The council boss highlighted the significance of Easter as a time for renewal and reflection. She stated, “As we celebrate this holy season, let us remember the lesson derived from the death and resurrection of Christ, who exemplified love and sacrifice for humanity.
I urge everyone to embrace these virtues in our daily lives, fostering a spirit of compassion within our community.”
Hon.Esomior urged the Christians to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ by following his teachings through acts of kindness and support for one another, She stated.
“Sacrificial living involves putting others’ needs before our own, creating a stronger and more harmonious community.”
She encouraged all residents to take this Easter Celebration as an opportunity to renew their commitment to love, echoing the spirit of hope and redemption that Easter represents.
