Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, Chairman of Ido Local Government, was delighted to join the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Ido Local Government Chapter, led by Comrade Ojoye Risqat Atere, for their annual celebration.

The event brought together union members from Oyo State Local Government, Ido Local Government staff, and political leaders to mark another year of dedication and service.
Hon. Aderemi Adeojo expressed his appreciation for the tireless efforts of NULGE members in driving local government progress and development. During the celebration, Hon. Aderemi Adeojo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting and empowering local government employees.

He commended Comrade Ojoye Risqat Atere and the NULGE Ido Chapter leadership for their exceptional leadership and dedication to promoting workers’ welfare.

The Chairman’s presence at the event underscored his commitment to building strong relationships with local government employees and fostering a positive work environment. He also charged members of staff to be diligent and punctual in office.

The Chairman also took the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, for his numerous initiatives that have enhanced the welfare of Oyo State employees.
These include the payment of 13th month salaries to all staff of Oyo State, implementation of the minimum wage, and massive recruitment of staff into the local government and teaching service.

Hon. Aderemi Adeojo noted that these initiatives have boosted the morale of workers and demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to the welfare and development of Oyo State employees.
