Following his adoption as the consensus candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT has expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to fairness and inclusiveness in Oyo State politics.
He noted that the governor’s directive and guidance in ensuring rotational balance between Akinyele and Lagelu have strengthened party unity and given renewed hope to the people.
Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT also extended appreciation to the state leadership of PDP, the local government executives of Akinyele and Lagelu, and the ward leaders across both constituencies for their dedication and loyalty to the party.
He gave special recognition to Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru, Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government and Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology and PDP leader in Lagelu and Akinyele LGA for their pivotal roles in harmonizing interests and fostering unity among stakeholders.
In his message, Engr Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT pledged to serve with integrity, inclusiveness, and dedication to the progress of his people.
He emphasized that with the full backing of the governor, the PDP leadership from state to wards, and the unwavering support of Akinyele/Lagelu stakeholders, the constituency is poised for meaningful development.
He called on all party members and constituents to remain united and steadfast as the PDP marches toward victory in 2027.
