Capacity Recognized: Wasilat Adegoke Celebrates Bolarinwa’s Role in Adekanmbi Campaign

The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, has congratulated Honourable Kazeem Bolarinwa on his appointment as Director General of Youth Mobilization for the Bimbo Adekanmbi Governorship Campaign.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan, Hon. Adegoke described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Hon. Bolarinwa has consistently demonstrated capacity, commitment to youth development, and grassroots mobilization over the years.

“I heartily congratulate my brother and colleague, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, on this well-earned appointment as DG, Youth Mobilization for the Bimbo Adekanmbi Governorship Campaign,” the Commissioner said.

“Hon. Bolarinwa is a youth leader with proven track record. His energy, organizational skills, and connection with young people across Oyo State will be a huge asset in driving the youth agenda of the campaign and ensuring massive youth participation in 2027.”

Hon. Adegoke noted that with the youth constituting a large percentage of the voting population, the role of youth mobilization will be critical to the success of the campaign. She expressed confidence that Hon. Bolarinwa will galvanize young people behind the vision of Chief Bimbo Adekanmbi to deliver purposeful leadership in Oyo State.

She further reaffirmed her commitment to working with all youth stakeholders to ensure that young people in Oyo State are carried along and given opportunities to contribute meaningfully to governance.

“I have no doubt that under Hon. Bolarinwa’s leadership, the youth wing of the campaign will be vibrant, strategic, and result-oriented. I wish him and the entire campaign team success,” she added.

Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa’s appointment is seen as part of the early strategic moves by the Bimbo Adekanmbi campaign to consolidate youth support ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
