Hon. Olumide Bello has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Chairman of the Ibadan South West Local Government Council in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Bello, a seasoned politician, previously ran as the Labour Party candidate for the State Assembly in 2011 and again as the SDP candidate in the 2015 general elections.
He has also served as the Council Secretary from 2021 to 2024 and is currently the Supervisor Councilor for Ward 12 within Ibadan South West Local Government.
With his extensive experience in local governance and commitment to public service, Bello aims to bring impactful leadership to the council.
