The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ibadan South East Local Government is set to formally unveil its candidates for the forthcoming local government elections at a major stakeholders’ engagement scheduled for tomorrow.
The event, which will bring together party leaders, members, supporters and stakeholders, is expected to spotlight the party’s Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Saheed Abimbola Oladimeji, popularly known as Owonifaari, alongside other candidates contesting various positions across the local government.
The engagement will be led by the APM leader in Ibadan South East, Hon. Dare Adeleke, and will also serve as an avenue to appreciate party members and stakeholders for their continued support and loyalty.
Among those expected at the gathering are Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, Member of the House of Representatives; Hon. Modiu Opeyemi Akande and Hon. Yinka Omikunle, members of the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The party will also unveil Hon. Oladepo Ayodeji as its Vice-Chairmanship candidate, alongside Councillorship candidates representing the 12 wards of Ibadan South East Local Government.
The event is expected to further consolidate the party’s grassroots mobilisation, foster unity among members and candidates, and strengthen the APM’s campaign structure ahead of the local government elections.
The candidates and party faithful are also expected to reaffirm their commitment to the political direction of the APM and their support for Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, and other candidates of the party.
