The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) consensus chairmanship candidate for Ibadan North West Local Government, Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Omotosho, has expressed profound appreciation to the leadership and members of the party across the local government for the confidence reposed in him following his emergence as the party’s consensus candidate.
In a goodwill message, Omotosho thanked APM leaders, stakeholders and members from the various wards in Ibadan North West for supporting his candidacy ahead of the forthcoming local government election.
The chairmanship candidate also acknowledged the maturity and sportsmanship displayed by other aspirants during the selection process, describing their cooperation as a demonstration of the unity and shared vision within the party.
“I sincerely appreciate the leadership and the entire APM members across Ibadan North West Local Government for supporting me to emerge as the consensus chairmanship candidate. I also thank all contestants for their cooperation and good spirit to work together and move Ibadan North West forward,” he said.

Omotosho assured party members that his aspiration is driven by the desire to deliver people-oriented governance and ensure that every community in the local government benefits from purposeful leadership.
Reiterating his campaign message, he stressed that the 2026 mandate should focus on growth, development and improved welfare for residents, calling on party faithful to remain united as preparations intensify for the election.
He further urged members to sustain the spirit of cooperation that produced the consensus arrangement, noting that unity remains the party’s greatest strength in achieving electoral success.
The appreciation message also reaffirmed the APM’s commitment to national unity and grassroots development under its popular slogan, “Nigeria First, One Nation.”
