APM Appoints Ibadan North East Chairman, Ibrahim Akintayo, Campaign DG

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, has been appointed Director-General of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Presidential and Governorship Campaign for Ibadan North East Local Government.

The appointment was contained in a release made available to the press and signed on Monday, September 28, 2026, by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, Coordinator of the APM Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Oyo State APM Governorship Campaign Council.

According to the release, Hon. Akintayo will coordinate and lead the party’s campaign activities for both the presidential and governorship candidates across Ibadan North East Local Government ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The new assignment comes as Akintayo continues in his capacity as the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government.

Dr. Adeniran also charged all 33 Local Government Directors-General, who are serving as campaign coordinators in their respective local governments, to intensify grassroots mobilisation and engagement towards securing victory for the APM in the forthcoming general election.

He urged the campaign coordinators to work closely with party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and other relevant groups across the 33 local government areas to ensure effective coordination of the party’s campaign activities.
