APC Oyo State Women Leader Seeks Divine Intervention, Assures Continued Advocacy for Aspirants

To: All My Dear Female Aspirants, APC Oyo State*

My Sisters and Co-Labourers,

I write to you today with a burdened but hopeful heart. I want you to know that at this moment, all the support I need from you is nothing but your prayers.

It may seem as though I am silent about your ambitions, or that your cries are not heard. Please believe me when I say: I have done all I can humanly do for women’s inclusion and for us to secure our 35% affirmative action. I connect to relevant people in the 33 local government.

Heaven is my witness. I have knocked on every door and appealed to all relevant leaders. I have tabled our matter before *Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria*. I have written and spoken to *Dr. Alile Idele, our National Woman Leader*. I have reached out to *Senator Dr. Bashir Ajibola, the National Secretary*. I have pleaded with *Dr. Zach Adedeji, Executive Chairman, Nigeria Revenue Service*, and other critical stakeholders and leaders of our party at the national and state levels.

I have made the “Macedonia Call” on your behalf. I have told them we cannot continue to be the chicken that lays the eggs only to be consumed and then killed for Christmas. I have defended your competence and your loyalty.

Now, sisters, we have reached the point where human effort must be backed by divine intervention. At this point, we need to intensify our prayers.

Please, let us go back to our knees. Let us cry to God who lifts the poor from the dust and sets them among princes. Let us pray as one woman — for favour, for open doors, for justice, and for the hearts of our leaders to remember us.

I have not abandoned you. I am still standing for you. But now, I need you to stand with me in the place of prayer. This battle will be won first in the spirit.

I love you all. I believe in you. And I believe God will not let our labour be in vain.

Stay strong. Keep praying. Our testimony is near.
