The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has received the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Commander Kehinde S. Dahunsi, Sector Commander, RS11.3 Oyo State Sector Command during a courtesy visit to his office.
The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to strengthen the existing relationship between the local government and the FRSC as well as discuss issues relating to road safety, traffic management, enforcement and the protection of lives and property within Ibarapa Central.
During the courtesy visit, Corps Commander Dahunsi presented an Award of Recognition to Hon. Adeleke in appreciation of his exemplary leadership and the significant support and role he has continued to provide towards the activities of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
The recognition highlights the Chairman’s commitment to promoting initiatives that contribute to safer roads and the wellbeing of residents and other road users across the local government.
Receiving the award, Hon. Adeleke expressed his appreciation to the FRSC Sector Commander and the entire Corps for the honour. He described the recognition as an encouragement to continue supporting institutions whose responsibilities directly contribute to the safety and development of the people.
The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining a strong and productive partnership with the FRSC and other relevant agencies, particularly in areas that promote road safety and protect the lives of residents.
He also commended the FRSC for its dedication to ensuring safer roads and responsible road use, assuring the Corps of the continued cooperation and support of the local government.
The visit and presentation of the award further Highlighted the importance of collaboration between the local government frsc in promoting safety, effective governance and sustainable development within Ibarapa Central.
