Adekanmbi Inaugurates APM Arewa Community Campaign Office in Ibadan

The Oyo State governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Bimbo Adekanmbi, has commissioned the party’s Arewa Community campaign office at the Adamasingba Shopping Complex, Sabo, Ibadan.

Adekanmbi, who was represented at the event by the party chieftain and Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Hon. Kazeem Adeyinka, commended the Arewa community for its continued support for the Makinde administration.

He urged community members to support the APM and all its candidates by voting in the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the governorship candidate, Adeyinka said the unity among the various groups within the Arewa community in the Sabo area had strengthened the party’s confidence in recording a strong performance at the polls.

Also speaking at the commissioning, the Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Seun Olufade, highlighted some of the projects executed by his administration for the benefit of the Arewa community and other residents of the council area.

Olufade said his administration had constructed the major road linking Jemibewon Road to Sabo. He added that the council had provided several boreholes and installed streetlights in parts of the area to improve security, curb night-time crime, and facilitate residents’ movement.

According to him, the council administration had also recently provided a transformer to the Arewa community.

The council chairman pledged that his administration would continue to support communities across Ibadan North Local Government and ensure that the Arewa community remained a beneficiary of democratic dividends.

He subsequently urged residents of the community to vote for APM candidates in the forthcoming presidential and governorship elections, saying continued support for the party would enable them to sustain the benefits of government projects and interventions.

The commissioning was attended by several political leaders and candidates, including the House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle; the member representing Ibadan North Constituency I in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olufunke Comforter; APM Governorship Campaign Director of the Women’s Wing, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo; and Director of the Youth Wing of the APM governorship campaign, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, among others.
