Earlier today, Hon. Abimbola Adekanbi officially handed over the affairs of the Office of the Chairman, Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, to the newly appointed Chairman, Arc. Akande Ifeoluwa Ona Ara, Ph.D.
The handover marks a new chapter in the ongoing efforts to advance the upgrade, development and transformation of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport into a more modern and functional aviation facility.
We commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his vision, foresight and unwavering commitment to the development of the state. Entrusting a prestigious legacy project of this magnitude to capable and competent hands further demonstrates his determination to deliver sustainable development and position Oyo State for greater economic opportunities.
We also appreciate Hon. Abimbola Adekanbi for his service, dedication and valuable contributions to the committee. His efforts have contributed meaningfully to the progress of the airport upgrade initiative.
