IBSWLG Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Akande Congratulates Dr. Nureni Adeniran and Hon. Demola Ojo on APM 2027 Campaign Appointments

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Honourable Kehinde Akande, has congratulated Dr. Nureni Adeniran and Hon. Demola Ojo on their appointments into strategic positions in the APM 2027 campaign structure.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan, Hon. Akande described the appointments as well-deserved and a recognition of the duo’s commitment to party growth, good governance, and grassroots mobilization in Oyo State.

Dr. Nureni Adeniran, former Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, has been named as both the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and the Director-General of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council.

Hon. Demola Ojo, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, was also appointed as Deputy Director-General (South) of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council.

“I heartily congratulate Dr. Nureni Adeniran and Hon. Demola Ojo on these strategic appointments,” Hon. Akande said.

“Dr. Adeniran is a tested administrator with a track record of delivering results. His experience in governance and grassroots engagement will be invaluable in driving the presidential and governorship campaigns to success in Oyo State.

“Hon. Demola Ojo has also proven himself as a dedicated leader in local government administration. His appointment as DDG (South) will further strengthen the campaign’s structure and outreach across the southern part of the state.”

The Ibadan South West Chairman noted that the appointments came at a critical time as APM begins early mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections. He expressed confidence that the new leadership will galvanize party members and ensure massive support for APM candidates.

He further pledged the support of Ibadan South West Local Government to the campaign council, adding that the council will work closely with the leadership to deepen grassroots engagement and deliver victory for the party.

“I have no doubt that under the coordination of Dr. Adeniran and the support of Hon. Ojo, APM will record resounding victories in Oyo State in 2027. I wish them and the entire campaign team success in this important national assignment,” he added.

He also extended his congratulations to other members of the campaign committee. They include Hon. Saheed Arowosaye AROSAD, former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, who was appointed Deputy State Coordinator for the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign; Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Director-Generals for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts respectively; Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director of the Women’s Wing; and Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant on Youth to Governor Makinde, as Director of the Youth Wing.

The appointments are seen as part of APM’s early strategic moves to consolidate structures and mobilize support across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State ahead of the 2027 elections.
