This was once again evident during the APM Ido Local Government Meeting held on 23rd July, 2026 at the Local Court, Ido, opposite Keke Park, where one of the leading APM Chairmanship Aspirants, Hon. As part of his ongoing empowerment initiative aimed at supporting the less privileged and vulnerable members of society, 30 elderly men and women drawn from all 10 wards of Ido Local Government received one bag of rice and a cash gift of ₦10,000 each to help ease their daily living expenses.
Extending his generosity even further, 6 additional beneficiaries also received one bag of rice and ₦10,000 each, while 3 other individuals were presented with ₦10,000 cash each, bringing smiles, relief, and renewed hope to many households across the local government.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Taiwo James Ayanwale (A.K.A. Kameel) reiterated his unwavering commitment to building an inclusive, progressive, and people-oriented Ido Local Government. He assured party members and residents that, if given the mandate as the APM Chairmanship candidate and subsequently elected as Chairman, the welfare and development of the people would remain his highest priority.
