*LG Election: Massive Endorsement as Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS Declares for Second Term, Unveils TAP Agenda in Ona Ara*

The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has officially declared his intention to seek a second term in office, receiving an overwhelming endorsement from party leaders, stakeholders, women, youths and supporters across the eleven wards of the local government.

The declaration, held at a well-attended meeting of APM leaders and members in Ona Ara Local Government, turned into a carnival-like celebration as hundreds of party faithful gathered to reaffirm their confidence in the leadership of Dr. GLORIOUS and his administration.

Speaking during the event, Dr. GLORIOUS presented a comprehensive account of his stewardship over the past two years, highlighting numerous people-oriented projects and programmes executed under his administration. He also announced that several completed projects would soon be commissioned to further improve the lives of residents.

The Chairman used the occasion to unveil a new developmental blueprint tagged TAP – Transformation Agenda for Prosperity, marking a transition from his widely acclaimed NEW ERA agenda. He explained that TAP would build on the solid foundation already laid by his administration by accelerating infrastructure development, economic growth, quality education, healthcare delivery, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, agricultural advancement and improved social welfare across Ona Ara Local Government.

The meeting was presided over by the Party Chairman in Ona Ara Local Government, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, and had in attendance the representative of the Ona Ara Traditional Council, Oba Kamarudeen Oniladuntan, alongside prominent political leaders and stakeholders.

Those present included the first Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Pa Jaiye Bankole; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Hon. Mufutau Ogunremi; former Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Buniyamin Azeez; Full-Time Commissioner, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Akeem Oke; Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun; Local Government Women Leader, Alhaja Lasisi Ganiya; Party Secretary, Barr. Kazeem Oladepo; Local Government Youth Leader, Hon. N. M. Azeez; Leader of the House, Hon. Abolade Yerima; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Sunmonu; Chief of Staff, Hon. Isiaka Arinola, as well as ward chairmen, ward women leaders, ward youth leaders, Babaloja of Ona Ara, Chairman of MODECOM, NAPPS Ona Ara, Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants and hundreds of party members.

In their separate remarks, the Local Government Youth Leader, Hon. N. M. Azeez, the Women Leader, Alhaja Lasisi Ganiya, ward leaders and other political leaders unanimously attested to the remarkable impact of Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS’ administration. They commended his commitment to grassroots development, inclusive governance, infrastructural renewal, educational support, youth and women empowerment, and improved service delivery.

The stakeholders unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman, describing his achievements within two years as unprecedented in the history of Ona Ara Local Government. They pledged their unwavering support for his second-term ambition, expressing confidence that the Transformation Agenda for Prosperity (TAP) would consolidate the gains of the NEW ERA administration and usher in a new phase of sustainable growth and development.

The meeting ended with a unanimous endorsement of Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS as the preferred candidate of the PDP/APM family for the forthcoming local government election, amid chants of solidarity and renewed commitment to delivering another resounding victory at the polls.
