As Nigerians usher in the month of July amid persistent economic hardship and growing calls for responsive leadership, the House of Representatives candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, has urged residents to embrace hope while reaffirming his commitment to people-centered representation.
In a New Month message released on Wednesday, Adegoke said the challenges confronting families, traders, farmers, artisans, and young people across the constituency should not be viewed as permanent, insisting that leadership must be measured by its ability to improve the everyday lives of the people.
“The strength of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency has always been its people,” he said. “Despite the difficulties, our people continue to work hard, support one another, and refuse to give up. That resilience deserves leadership that listens, understands, and delivers.”
The APM candidate said his political ambition is driven by a desire to ensure that the voices of ordinary citizens are represented where decisions are made.

He pledged to continue engaging communities across the constituency and advocating policies that promote infrastructure development, youth empowerment, agricultural growth, and economic opportunities.
Adegoke also called on residents to remain united and optimistic as the new month begins, expressing confidence that collective effort and purposeful leadership can unlock the constituency’s vast potential.
He concluded by wishing the people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency a peaceful, productive, and prosperous July, while encouraging them to remain committed to building a future defined by progress, inclusion, and shared prosperity.
