*False Alarm: APC leaders Denied Conducting Any Primary in Olorunsogo LG.*

This is to inform the General Public and all teeming members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the claims made by one of the aspirants to the Federal House of Representatives regarding the conduct of a primary election in Olorunsogo Local Government is totally false and misleading.

No primary election was held. No aspirant has been confirmed or affirmed. No directives were issued by the Party.

This disclaimer is contained in a communiqué released by Alhaji Rasaq Raji, following a stakeholders’ meeting held with Party Leaders and Elders at his residence, where the matter was thoroughly deliberated upon and unanimously condemned.

Alhaji Rasaq Raji used the occasion to remind all members’ that legitimate party primaries are conducted strictly in accordance with the guidelines of the APC and under the supervision of INEC officials. Any exercise conducted outside these laid-down procedures carries no legal or political validity whatsoever.

He further appealed to all APC members across Olorunsogo Local Government to remain calm, law-abiding and united, and to disregard any sponsored misinformation designed to cause confusion or division within the party.

The All Progressives Congress remains one united, indivisible family, and all due processes will be followed at the appropriate time.
