The Falconets, Nigeria’s U20 women’s national team, have kicked off their training camp in Ibadan as they prepare to take on Senegal in a crucial FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match. The team, led by coach Moses Aduku, is gearing up to host Senegal at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on February 7.

Aduku expressed confidence in the players’ abilities, citing their strong performances in recent friendly matches. The team’s training sessions have focused on tactical discipline, team chemistry, and physical conditioning.
The winner of the Nigeria-Senegal tie will advance to the final qualifying round, where they’ll face the victor of the Guinea-Bissau and Malawi encounter for one of Africa’s four slots at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
