The Aperin Oniyere Old Students Association (APOOSA) has commended the Oyo State Government for the comprehensive remodeling of the once-dilapidated classroom blocks at Aperin Oniyere Commercial Grammar School, Adesola, Orita-Aperin, Ibadan.

The appreciation was formally conveyed in a letter presented to the Oyo State Government by a delegation of the association, following the visible transformation of the school’s learning infrastructure from its former state to a modern and conducive academic environment.
The delegation, led by the Chairman, Board of Trustees of APOOSA, Engr. Oluremi Tokede, paid a courtesy visit to the Government Secretariat, where they met with the Special Assistant on Education to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Abiodun Tiamiyu. The visit was aimed at expressing the association’s gratitude to the state government for prioritising education and restoring the dignity of public schools.

Speaking during the visit, APOOSA leaders noted that the remodeling project has significantly improved the outlook of the school and rekindled hope among students, teachers, and alumni. They described Governor Seyi Makinde’s education-driven reforms as impactful, people-oriented, and reflective of his administration’s commitment to human capital development.


The association, led by its President Mr. Seun Osatuyi, further pledged continued support and collaboration with the Oyo State Government in sustaining educational development across the state.
They also encouraged other old students’ associations to partner with government efforts in preserving and advancing public education infrastructure.
