Ona Ara Local Government, under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Temitope Kolapo (JP) FCIHRM, is set to make history as it hosts the maiden edition of the Ona Ara Youth Summit on Friday, 12th December 2025, at Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Akanran, Ibadan.
With the theme “Leadership and Entrepreneurship: Turning Ideas Into Reality,” the summit is designed to inspire, empower, and equip young people with practical knowledge, innovative skills, and leadership capacity needed to thrive in today’s dynamic society.
The event will feature seasoned speakers and distinguished resource persons, including Dr. Abib Olamitoye, renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Academy Suites Hotels and Tolu Medical Centres. His wealth of experience in business development and human capital growth is expected to provide participants with actionable insights for personal and professional advancement.
According to the statement signed by the Chairman of the Planning Committee and Supervisory Councillor for Youth, Hon.
