In his continuous show of commitment to education and community development, Engr. Dr. Maruf Babatunde Ishola Kukoyi (BIK) has awarded a scholarship to Miss Ghazali Sumaya, who recently gained admission to study Mass Communication at Novelty Polytechnic, Kishi.

The scholarship support, aimed at easing the financial burden of newly admitted students, was met with heartfelt appreciation from her father, Alfa Ghazali (popularly known as Baba Wele), who described the gesture as a divine blessing.

In his words, “I am sincerely grateful to Engr. Dr. Maruf Kukoyi for this golden opportunity given to my daughter. This gesture gives parents hope and encourages our children to stay focused on their education. May Almighty Allah bless him abundantly and continue to elevate him,” Baba Wele said.

The scholarship beneficiary, Sumaya Ghazali, expressed joy and gratitude for the rare privilege, saying, “I feel so happy and honoured to be selected for this scholarship. I thank Engr. Dr. Maruf Kukoyi for believing in me, and I pray that Allah grants all his desires and rewards him greatly.”
