The GSMists a leading support group of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State has inaugurated its Local Government Executive Officers.
The inauguration which held today at the Western Hall, Oyo State House of Assembly Complex had in attendance the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Agency Development, Prince Adebowale Falana and the State Youth Leader and Acting Publicity Secretary of People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Michael Ogunsina.
The State Coordinator Prince Tella Oluyinka in his opening Remarks extend his deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde for making governance worthy in the State and creating an enabling environment for Support group to thrive in his honor.
He further extended his commendation to all members of the group for their dedication and commitment towards propagating the good work of the Governor.
He further declares and reassured that the GSMists commitment, dedication and support for Gov. Makinde’s success and beyond is unshakeable.
He hinted that the era of “Monkey dey work, bamboo dey chop is over “. Whatever belongs to everyone will be distributed accordingly.
The Chief Coordinator and Founder of the GSMists, Hon. Olajide Abayomi, popularly known as “Royal Umbrella” extended his commendation to the new State Excos for their prudence and accountability.
He charged them to remain focus in their assignment and avoid any act of greediness in their dealing.
The State Youth Leader, Oyo State People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Michael Ogunsina in his brief Lecture highlighted Capacity, Competency, and Character as key elements one need to succeed in life, and he charged the new Excos to adopt it as their core values.
The Chairman, Oyo State Youth Agency Development, Prince Adebowale Falana in his remark chastise the new Excos to be a good follower as rome was not built in a day.
He stressed that whatever we are doing today, there’s a reward for it, whether good or bad. He further noted that there’s no position one cannot attain in life if he has the zeal for leadership.
The State Coordinator, Prince Tella Oluyinka while administering the Oath of Office to all the Local Government Excos comprising; Coordinator, Secretary, PRO, Women Leader and Organizing Secretary
which was drawn from the 33 Local Governments in Oyo State totaled at 165 charged them to be responsible with their office as there will be no room for non-challant attitude, and they should see themselves as a servant leader.
