As Governor Seyi Makinde marks his sixth year in office, accolades continue to pour in from across Oyo State.
Among the latest is a heartfelt commendation from Ogunsola Olusina, a prominent grassroots politician and House of Representatives aspirant for Oluyole Federal Constituency.
In a statement released on Thursday, Ogunsola —praised Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the development and transformation of Oyo State.
Describing the Governor’s leadership as visionary, people-oriented, and deeply impactful, Ogunsola said:
“Your Excellency, we are proud of you. Your sixth anniversary in office is not just a celebration of time, but of tangible progress. From improved infrastructure to sweeping reforms in education, healthcare, and security, your tenure has brought hope and renewed confidence to the good people of Oyo State.”
He further commended Governor Makinde’s ability to remain focused and effective in the face of challenges, adding that the administration’s developmental strides have repositioned the state as a model of good governance in Nigeria.
“Your humility, accessibility, and results-driven leadership have inspired a new generation of leaders.
You have demonstrated that leadership is about service, and that the welfare of the people must always come first,” Ogunsola added
