Karim Adeyemi Foundation Partners With OYSHMB to Renovate Adeoyo Maternity Hospital’s Children’s Ward

The Foundation initiated by Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, Karim Adeyemi Foundation has paid a courtesy visit to the management of Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, led by the Executive Chairman, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, to partner with the state government on the renovation and maintenance of the children’s ward at Adeoyo Maternity Hospital, Yemetu.

The courtesy visit which was inline in giving back to the society by Borussia Dortmund striker, Karim Adeyemi through his foundation which has been in fore front of supporting Non-governmental organization and government in easing the burden on the government.

In his address, the President of the Karim Adeyemi Foundation (KAF), Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi, said that the foundation is a tripartite foundation focused on sports, education, and health/empowerment interventions to contribute to the growth and development of the state.

He added that the foundation had taken note of the good work and efforts of His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, under the sustainable healthcare services initiative for the people of Oyo State.

Mr. Adeyemi promised that the foundation would renovate and maintain the children’s ward at Adeoyo Maternity Hospital and reaffirmed the foundation’s readiness to be part of the success story of this administration.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, applauded the Karim Adeyemi Foundation for their willingness to contribute to the provision of qualitative, accessible, and affordable healthcare services to the people of Oyo State.

He appealed to well-meaning Nigerians, especially the wealthy individuals in Oyo State, to join in the development of the state in any area they think they can help, knowing fully that the government alone cannot do the work.

Present during the visit were The Director of Admin and Supplies, Mr. Michael Adebayo; and the Director of Hospital Administration, Mr. Stephen Olatunde, Representing KAF were the President of the foundation, Mr. Abiodun Adeyemi; Executive Director, Mr. Olamide Idowu; Welfare Officer, Mr. Adewumi Adekunle; and Board Member, Mr. Adesope Adetayo.
