As Christians celebrate Easter across World, Hon. Babatunde George Ige, BGI, has extended warm greetings to the faithful in his local government, Ibadan South West, urging them to embody the values of love, tolerance, and unity that the occasion embodies.

In his Easter message, BGI acknowledged the economic challenges facing many Nigerians but emphasized the importance of maintaining hope, resilience, and solidarity. “The Easter season is a time for reflection, renewal, and celebration,” he said. “As we commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, let us draw inspiration from His teachings of love, compassion, and forgiveness.”

BGI noted that Nigeria’s diversity is a strength, and that unity in diversity is essential for national progress. “We must strive to build bridges, not walls,” he said. “Let us promote understanding, empathy, and kindness towards one another, regardless of our backgrounds or beliefs.”

The politician’s message resonated with many Nigerians who are facing economic hardship but find solace in their faith and community. “In these trying times, we must come together as a nation, support one another, and work towards building a more harmonious and prosperous society,” BGI emphasized.

As Nigerians mark this significant occasion, BGI’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, tolerance, and love in building a stronger nation. His words echoed the sentiments of many Christians who see Easter as an opportunity to renew their faith, strengthen family bonds, and reach out to those in need.

By embracing the values of Easter, BGI believes Nigerians can overcome current challenges and build a brighter future for themselves and future generations.

“May this Easter season bring us renewed hope, joy, and peace,” he wished.
