Ibadan North West Agog As Council Boss,Adepoju Unveils Multimillion Infrastructural Projects* ….As Gov. Makinde’s S.A on security matter highly commended the “Prudent Council Boss, Adepoju”

The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North-west Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has been described as a selfless leader and politician who judiciously utilised the resources within his purview for the benefits of his people.

Making the commendation was the Special Adviser to His Excellency on Security matters and Executive Secretary,Oyo State Security Trust Fund CP Fatai Owoseni(rtd) at the Official Commissioning of Solar Electrification project installed at Ward 6 Area of the council by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government.

The Security Adviser commended the Executive Chairman for his prudence and determination in ensuring that dividends of democracy were felt in all the nooks and crannies of the local government. He said, ‘in spite of paucity of funds in the local government, the Chairman was able to embark on physical projects like solar Electrification among others. His commitment to self help projects must be emulated”.

CP Owoseni implored the Executive Chairman not to relent in fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of the local government by embarking more on people oriented projects.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Alh AbdulRahman Adepoju reiterated that all physical projects embarked on since his assumption of office were in fulfilment of the campaign promises he made to the people of the local government.

He maintained that the installation of the solar street light at ward six areas like Oke Padre, Oniyanrin, Abebi, Iya Ghana and Daily Times area was to provide a conducive business environment for the traders and the residents. Alh Adepoju stressed that his administration is determined to ensure that there is adequate illumination across major streets, Markets and communities within the Council areas to prevent hoodlums from carrying out nefarious activities.

Alh Adepoju appreciated His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde for his remarkable achievements in the Omituntun 2.0 among which was the light up program across major roads in Ibadan and Oyo state in general. The Council Boss assured that all infrastructural projects to be executed during his tenure in office will be in tandem with the visions of His Excellency in OMITUNTUN 2.0 for the people of Oyo State.

The Executive Chairman appreciated the people of Ibadan North-West Local Government for their staunch belief in his capabilities to pilot the affairs of the council with a promise to bring more dividends of democracy to their door steps.

In her welcome address the Head of Local Government Administration for the Council, Mrs Rachael Olabode appreciated the unflinching supports of people of ward six and environs for the Chairman in making his visions come to reality. She further applauded all the party leaders, community leaders and the youths in ward six and the local government in general for their selfless services in ensuring a peaceful co-existence within the Council area. The HLGA further enjoined all traders within ward six and environs to co-operate with the present administration by paying necessary Levies as at when due to the Local Government as this will assist in providing more social amenities within the council area and the state in general.

In their separate goodwill messages, the PDP state secretary, LG PDP chairman, Community leaders and the Councillor representing ward 6, appreciated the Executive Chairman for the gestures accorded them in ward six and environs. They promised their unflinching support for the Governor and the Chairman for the growth of the Council and the state as a whole. They further solicited more dividends of democracy like Borehole and good roads for the Convenience of the residents.

Making his own remarks,the project Consultant, Engr Abiodun Olofinjana, appreciated the Chairman for the trust he and his working cabinet had in him to handle the project.He affirmed that the project were of good quality service for the benefits and usage of the residents.

The program which was held at Daily Times area of Oke padre had in attendance the Vice Chairman, Alh Ganiy Abiodun Omotosho, State PDP Secretary, Alh Wasiu Adeleke, Ibadan Northwest PDP Chairman, Alh Lukman Adesina, PA to His Excellency, Alh Akeem Azeez, former State Honorable representing IBNW LG constituency, Hon Akeem Obadara, Hon. Gbemileke Nelson, Hajia Bola Oladeji , Hon Kazeem Fantola and Alh Labule Ishola.

Others were Mr Tunde Abimbola(Ambassador),Baba 70, Alh. Dotun Laoye, Councillors, Supervisory Councillors, PDP Stakeholders, Acting HLGA, Okebadan North LCDA, Hajia Mujidat Ojewumi, management and staff of Ibadan Northwest Local Government led by the Head of Local Government Administration Mrs Rachael Olabode.
