Engr (Dr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi has yet again demonstrated awesome empathy, a virtue he is known for has donated 5 million naira to victims of recent fire outbreaks at Eleyele and Moniya Markets in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Recall that Eleyele Market was gutted by fire some weeks ago where goods worth millions of Naira were lost in the inferno, which started at midnight, while that of Moniya fire disaster occurred few days ago.

The gesture by Dr. Sanusi was announced on Wednesday by Iyaloja-General, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje
during a sympathy visit to the victims of the inferno at Moniya Market.

Addressing the victims and other stakeholders in the area while sympathizing with the traders, Alhaja Saratu said that the magnitude of the inferno would impact negatively on the economic lives of the affected persons.

“we are so much worried and concerned about the unfortunate incident; this is the reason why we are personally here to see for ourselves for further action.

“Three million goes to the first to victims of the first market while two million goes to the affected traders at Moniya Market where we are presently.”
