The Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engr. AbdulRaheem Adebayo Lawal and the Ibarapa Central Local Government Chairman, Hon. Sola Adeleke Abiola, have commended the Chairman of the Hospital Management Board (HMB), Dr. Akin Fagbemi, on the ongoing renovation and upgrade of the Igboora General Hospital.
In a statement, Barr Lawal said the renovation work is a commitment of the state government to improving healthcare delivery in the state.
He added that the upgraded hospital will provide quality healthcare services to the people of Igboora and its environs.
“I am very impressed with the progress of work on the Igboora General Hospital,” Barr Lawal said.
“This is a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Oyo State.
“When completed, this hospital will provide quality healthcare services to the people of Igboora and its environs.
I commend the Chairman of the Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, for his vision.”
The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon Sola Adeleke also commended Fagbemi for his efforts in ensuring that the Igboora General Hospital is upgraded to a modern facility.
“I am happy to see that the Igboora General Hospital is being renovated and upgraded,” Adeleke said.
“This is a much-needed project that will benefit the people of Ibarapa Central Local Government.
“I commend the Chairman of the Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, for his commitment to this project.”
The renovation Igboora General Hospital is expected to be commissioned by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde by the end of the year.
