Ibadan – The ongoing recruitment process for healthcare workers in Oyo State has been praised for its transparency and fairness. The process, which began with a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam, followed by interviews, has been commended by participants and officials alike.
Dr. Stephen Fagbemi, who led the interview panel, emphasized that the process has been free and fair, with a clear cut-off point of 60% and above. He noted that the interview stage has been seamless, credible, and sound.
Dr. Ibrahim Anifat, who represented the Oyo State Government, expressed gratitude to Governor Oluseyi Makinde for approving the recruitment process. He stated that the aim is to strengthen the state’s health delivery system.
Muyiwa Adegoke, a participant, praised the process, saying it has been fair from the beginning. Another participant commended the chairman and members of the panel for their transparency and job well done.
The recruitment process, which started with medical professionals, including consultants, medical officers, dental officers, and pharmacy technicians, is expected to continue in the coming days.
The Oyo State Government’s commitment to transparency and fairness in the recruitment process has been hailed as a positive step towards strengthening the state’s healthcare system.
