In a show of solidarity and grassroots connection ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Allied People’s Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, on Wednesday joined Muslim faithful at the Eid prayer ground in Alase, Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The well-attended Eid prayer session witnessed the presence of Islamic clerics, community leaders, political stakeholders, youths and residents who gathered to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, one of the most significant festivals in Islam symbolizing sacrifice, peace and obedience to Allah.
Speaking shortly after the prayers, Adegoke urged residents of Akinyele and Lagelu Federal Constituency to embrace unity, peaceful coexistence and collective development, stressing that progress can only be achieved when people put aside political, ethnic and religious differences for the common good.

The frontline politician, popularly known as ADLAT, noted that Eid-El-Kabir serves as a reminder of sacrifice, compassion and service to humanity, adding that leaders must always prioritize the welfare of the people above personal interests.

According to him, “This season is beyond celebration; it is a period of reflection, sacrifice and love for one another. Our constituency can only move forward when we stand together in unity irrespective of our political affiliations or religious beliefs.”

He further called on youths across the constituency to remain hopeful and actively participate in the democratic process, assuring them that the future of Akinyele/Lagelu remains bright with purposeful leadership and people-oriented representation.

Residents and party supporters who attended the prayer session described the visit as a demonstration of humility and accessibility, noting that Adegoke has continued to maintain close ties with the grassroots across communities in the federal constituency.
The atmosphere at the prayer ground was filled with excitement as supporters and admirers gathered around the APM candidate, offering prayers and goodwill messages for his political journey ahead of the 2027 polls.

Political observers within the constituency believe the continuous engagement of Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT with residents and community stakeholders may further strengthen his growing acceptance across Akinyele and Lagelu local government areas.
