Following the successful PDP/APM Mega Rally held in Ibadan yesterday, Olakunle Akinsete has openly declared his support for Seyi Makinde ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Hon. Akinsete described the rally as a “political awakening” that reflects the growing confidence Nigerians have in Governor Makinde’s leadership capacity and democratic ideals.
He praised the governor for sustaining peace, development, and inclusive governance in Oyo State since assuming office in 2019, stressing that such achievements have earned him respect across political and regional lines.
According to Akinsete, the unprecedented turnout of supporters at the rally proves that Governor Makinde remains one of the most admired political leaders in the country today.
He maintained that Nigeria needs leaders with integrity, vision, and practical governance experience, adding that Governor Makinde has consistently shown those qualities through his administration.
The political mobilizer further urged Nigerians to begin supporting credible and progressive leaders who can unite the country and deliver meaningful development to the people.
Hon. Akinsete also appreciated party stakeholders, organizers, supporters, and residents who contributed to the success of the mega rally, describing the event as a major step toward a stronger and more united political future.
