Oyo 2027: “You and Your Supporters Have Only One Vote.We’ll Win With or Without You”_ Sharafadeen Alli ‘s Camp F!res Back at Adebayo Adelabu

Supporters of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun ALLI , the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 gubernatorial hopeful in Oyo State, have issued a scathing response to former Minister of Power, Chief Adelabu Adebayo Adekola , over his refusal to endorse their principal for the 2027 governorship race.

In a strongly worded reaction on Thursday, the aggressive supporters dismissed Bayo Adelabu and his camp as politically inconsequential, insisting that the APC ticket of Senator Alli and his running mate, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji , does not require Adelabu’s backing to win.

“We are a party man, but we are not beggars,” one of the lead supporters declared. “Chief Adelabu and his supporters have only one vote. If that is how he wants to play politics, then he and his supporters should go to hell. Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and Hon Adedeji Adesoji do not need Adelabu and his supporters to become Governor of Oyo State in 2027.”

The outburst follows a recent public press statement by the former Minister of Power, in which Adelabu affirmed his loyalty to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, but conspicuously avoided endorsing Senator Alli’s gubernatorial ambition.

The omission, according to Alli’s supporters, was a deliberate snub that has “exposed those who are working against party unity ahead of 2027.”

“Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli is a grassroots politician, a tested legislator, and a bridge-builder,” the statement continued. “He and Hon. Adesoji Adedeji have the structure, the goodwill of the people, and the capacity to deliver Oyo State for the APC. We will not be distracted by those playing 4-year politics.”

Despite the attack, sources close to Senator Alli’s campaign said the team remains focused on grassroots mobilization and party reconciliation, adding that “the door for unity is still open, but we will not beg for support.”

As of press time, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has not responded to the latest remarks from Alli’s camp.
