Peace has returned to Ido Local Government following a high-level reconciliation meeting where key political leaders and stakeholders resolved their differences and agreed to work together for the collective progress of the local government.
The meeting was aimed at fostering unity, strengthening the party’s structure, rebuilding trust among stakeholders and ensuring greater cooperation ahead of upcoming political activities.
The reconciliation brought together prominent political figures and stakeholders from across Ido Local Government, demonstrating a renewed commitment to a united political front.
Among those present were Mallam Muili Yusuf, the overall leader; Alhaji Akinsola Ayuba; Alhaji Musibau Emiola, Alliance Chairman; Hon. Akanwo Matthew, SA Liaison, Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency; Alhaji Isa Alabanla; Kamorudeen Ajigbotolorun; Alhaji Oladokun, APM Chairman, Ido LG; Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe; Alhaji Razak Babalola; Engr. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji (KSA); Barr. Olayemi Oluwasina, as well as other notable community and party leaders.

Speaking on the outcome of the meeting, stakeholders emphasized the importance of maintaining peace, unity and open communication among party leaders and members.
With the differences resolved and communication channels reopened, the leaders are expected to work together to strengthen the party at the grassroots, promote stability and advance the development of Ido Local Government.
The reconciliation is also seen as a significant step towards presenting a stronger and more united front ahead of future political engagements in the area.
