In a gesture underscoring his commitment to party unity and grassroots empowerment, the Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government Area, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, met and presented yuletide gifts to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairmen and other executives across the 10 Wards of the council.
The event, held at the local government secretariat, highlighted Hon. Adeojo’s dedication to strengthening the party’s foundation at the community level. Recipients included PDP executives from all 10 wards, who expressed profound gratitude for the thoughtful initiative aimed at boosting morale and supporting their ongoing efforts.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Oladimeji Akinola Kazeem, Chairman of All PDP Ward Chairmen and the Women Leader Mrs Olunloyo Margret Moromoke, commended Hon. Sheriff Adeojo as a quintessential grassroots politician whose leadership has transformed lives and fostered inclusive development. “Hon. Sheriff’s visionary approach prioritizes the welfare of our people, promotes transparency, and drives sustainable progress in Ido,” They stated. They further praised the chairman’s tireless advocacy for youth empowerment, infrastructure renewal, and economic opportunities, positioning him as a beacon of effective governance and party loyalty.
Hon. Adeojo, in his remarks, reiterated his administration’s focus on collaborative partnerships to deliver dividends of democracy. “Our success lies in the strength of our party structure at the ward level; these gifts are just a token of appreciation for your unwavering support,” chairman said.
