Honourable Bimbo Adekanmbi has shared his heartfelt joy with all Muslims for the successful completion of the holy Month of Ramadan.
This is contained in a statement he personally signed which reads:
‘I rejoice with all Muslims across the world, particularly those in Oyo State—our own epicentre of the globe.
“Fasting is not merely about being abstemious or abstaining from food and drink.
“It is a profound spiritual exercise that calls for complete holiness. It deprives one of the things he=she values most and substitutes them with the three P’s that nurture a perfect being: prayer, patience, and painstaking devotion.
“After this sacred body and soul discipline, we are assured a worthy end—rich with rewards and a reformed heart.
“May the Almighty who granted you the strength and will to persevere throughout this holy season also bless you with the ability to sustain its virtues thereafter.
“May He accept it as atonement for past sins, as promised to those who fast out of sincere faith, and also reward you abundantly with its countless benefits. “
