The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, has extended warm greetings to the residents of Ibarapa Central particularly the Christian faithful as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas message, Hon. Adeleke stressed the significance of the season, emphasizing that Christmas is a time of love, unity, and selfless giving, reflecting the teachings and life of Jesus Christ. He urged the people to use the occasion to foster peace, harmony and understanding within their families, communities and beyond.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us be reminded of His message of love, humility and service to humanity. This is a time to extend kindness to one another and strengthen the bond of unity that binds us as a community,” he said.
Hon. Adeleke also acknowledged the contributions of the good people of Ibarapa Central towards the growth and development of the local government. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare and well-being of the people, ensuring the delivery of impactful programs and projects that improve their quality of life.
The Executive Chairman further called for prayers for the progress of Ibarapa Central, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, urging everyone to remain hopeful and steadfast in their efforts toward building a stronger, more prosperous society.
“As we reflect on the year, let us also pray for continued peace, security and prosperity in our community and our nation at large. May this season bring joy and fulfillment to every home,” he added.
He concluded by wishing all residents a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, urging everyone to celebrate responsibly and continue to uphold the values of love, tolerance and goodwill that the season represents.
