Mixed reactions have continued to trail the consultative visit of the APC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD, to Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government.
Senator Alli, who currently represents Oyo South Senatorial District, visited the town as part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Following the report of the visit, residents have taken to social media to express divergent views on his representation.
One resident, Ajibade Segun, in his reaction, faulted the Senator’s performance in the Ibarapa zone.
According to him, “Just a few days ago, a governorship candidate who has been the Senator representing our Senatorial District came to Eruwa in Ibarapa East after ignoring us for almost four years without any project in the Ibarapa region. We can see what his colleagues did for Oke-Ogun, but he has nothing to show.
“We are not useless in Ibarapa region, you can’t just use us and dump us, you can’t just be coming to our region only when you need us.”
