Ibadan, Nigeria – The Matriarch of the Oyo State political dynasty and Southwest Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Yeyeluah Chief (Mrs.) Modinat Abosede Adedibu, has called on Muslim faithful to embrace the virtues of Ramadan with sincerity and devotion.

Yeyeluah Adedibu emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion to Allah. She urged Muslims across Oyo State and beyond to use the season to strengthen their faith, seek forgiveness, and engage in acts of charity to support the less privileged.
“Ramadan is not just a time for fasting but also a period for self-purification and reconnecting with Allah. It is a time to show love, patience, and generosity, especially to those in need,” she said.

As the PDP Southwest Women Leader, Yeyeluah Adedibu also extended special counsel to women, highlighting their vital role in upholding family values and fostering a peaceful home during Ramadan. She encouraged them to instill discipline in their children, engage in prayers, and support their communities through acts of kindness.
She further appealed to well-meaning individuals to remember the needy by sharing food items and other necessities to ensure that everyone partakes in the blessings of the season.

“Let us all embrace the true spirit of Ramadan by promoting unity, love, and peace within our communities. May this holy month bring blessings, prosperity, and divine favor upon us all,” Ramadan Kareem she added.
