Hundreds of People Living With Disabilities (PWDs) in Ibadan have expressed deep appreciation to Daud Kehinde Sangodoyin for organising a special Iftar gathering in their honour during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Iftar programme, coordinated by Hon. Wasiu Nurudeen on behalf of Prof. Sangodoyin, catered for over 150 persons with disabilities. The event featured the distribution of food items, drinks, and fruits to participants, creating an atmosphere of joy and appreciation among attendees.
Beneficiaries at the event expressed happiness and gratitude, praising Prof. Sangodoyin for remembering and supporting people with disabilities during the sacred fasting period.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Dr. Lateef Lawal, Vice Principal of Cheshire High School, Ibadan, thanked Prof. Sangodoyin for his thoughtful gesture towards the disabled community. He noted that such acts of kindness demonstrate a heart for service and inclusiveness.


Dr. Lawal also urged Prof. Sangodoyin to consider contesting for the position of governor of Oyo State in the coming election, stating that the state would benefit greatly from a compassionate and people-oriented leader.
Other speakers who expressed appreciation included Pastor Francis Akande, Alhaja Aminat Ismael, and Mr. Jaiyeoba Olatunji. They commended Prof. Sangodoyin’s philanthropic gesture and described it as a demonstration of genuine concern for the welfare of vulnerable members of society.

According to them, leaders with compassion and commitment to humanity are needed at the helm of governance in Oyo State. They expressed hope that if given the opportunity to serve as governor, Prof. Sangodoyin would expand his philanthropic initiatives and positively impact more lives across the state.
