Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT) has joined voices around the world to commemorate International Women’s Day, using the occasion to highlight the importance of women’s inclusion in leadership and decision-making spaces.

In his message, he noted that while the day is a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women, it must also serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility to advance equality and opportunity for women across all sectors of society.

According to Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT), meaningful progress cannot be achieved unless women are fully integrated into political, economic, and social structures.

He emphasized that true development requires women to occupy seats at decision-making tables and to actively participate in shaping policies that determine the future of communities and nations.

He further stressed the need for sustained efforts toward women’s empowerment, protection from violence and discrimination, and the creation of equal opportunities in leadership and representation.

He also drew attention to the unique challenges faced by women across Africa, particularly Black African women who often confront systemic marginalization, conflict, and economic hardship.

Engr. Toheeb Adegoke (ADLAT) noted that the struggle for dignity, safety, and fair participation remains an urgent global concern.

Reaffirming his commitment to gender equity, he stated that a just society cannot exist without women’s voices, leadership, and rights being fully recognized and protected, while expressing hope for a future where every woman can lead, thrive, and live free from fear.
